Lavandula x intermedia 'Grosso'
Grosso lavender is a larger cultivar of “french” lavender with a vigorous growth habit. Plant height can be 30 – 36″ tall and wide with a growing habit like a 180- degree dome (like a hedgehog)
Grosso has a wonderfully strong fragrance and long stems. It’s good for drying, sachets, wands and general crafting.
Hardiness zone 5-9
Full sun and well drained soil is a must for success in growing lavender. It performs best in dry, sandy, alkaline, well-drained soil. Lavender does not like shade or excess water.
